Feed the brains!

Updated: Oct 12, 2023

Okay, that’s not how Grace Slick sings it but that’s how I’m singing it in my own head right now.

Welcome to 14 years of community building!

Aaaand….pouring fake blood over your head a-la Carrie-style, throwing on some fake maggots made from rice glued to your face and dancing “Thriller” to a fascinated (and mildly frightened) crowd with our horde.

Wait.

You haven’t done this yet?

Now’s your chance! Rehearsals are starting this week! Check the Events page but so far, we have Sunday afternoons at Bardmoor YMCA in Largo with Kira, Friday nights at Radius Church DTSP with Julia and a couple Sunday nights in South Straub Park DTSP on the pier with Dee.

We will have several opportunities for you to perform with us this year. And that’s optional but if you’re going to put in the work to learn the dance, why wouldn't you want to show it off?

FEED THE BRAINS

As you may know, we DO this entirely to raise money for charity. We keep nothing for ourselves or any expenses related to running this happy, friendly group of undead. It’s always free to rehearse and perform with us however, this year, if you would like to throw in a couple bucks as a donation to the holiday food drive for Rad CHurch or bring non-perishable food items to rehearsal, we will happily accept them!

Radius Church DTSP has supported Thrill St Pete with free rehearsal space for years and while we've always lended hands during their holiday food drives, we wanted to do MORE this year as a "thank you!" to another local charitable organization that does so much for this community.

Non-perishable items that are always needed for the Thanksgiving Food Drive:

Mac N Cheese, canned green beans, canned corn, canned sweet potatoes, canned cranberry sauce and stuffing.

Please help us help Rad Church feed more than 800 families at Thanksgiving this year.

To sign up to volunteer or if you or any of your neighbors need assistance this holiday, here's the site:

And we're back!

Well, that was a short trip! Good news! Jennifer, Sherry and Kira are leading Thrill St Pete this season! They're looking to keep things on a smaller scale, while supporting local events we love like
